Privacy policy

1. Information we collect

The Service collects the following information.

• Account information (on sign-up): your Google account name, email, and profile photo
• Submitted content: links (URLs) you enter and text you paste
• Usage records: your trips and itineraries, credit usage history, and service usage events (screen views and feature use, including identifiers, language, and platform)
• Payment records: amount, currency, credit pack, and Stripe transaction identifiers (payment method details such as card numbers are handled directly by Stripe and are not stored by the Operator)
• Feedback: the satisfaction rating and any message you send us, along with your account name and email at the time you sent it (see Section 6)

2. How we use it

Collected information is used only to: provide the Service (creating and storing itineraries), manage credits and process payments, prevent abuse, analyze aggregate statistics to improve the Service, respond to inquiries, and read and reply to feedback you send.

3. Retention

Trips created in a guest (anonymous) session are deleted 24 hours after creation.

Account data is destroyed without delay when you delete your account. Records that applicable law requires us to keep (such as payment and transaction records) are retained for the statutory period and then destroyed.

If you delete your account, any review of yours published on the Service is taken down and destroyed along with it (see Section 6).

4. Processors and international transfer

We entrust processing to the following providers. They are located outside Korea, so your data may be processed abroad.

• Google LLC (USA) — sign-in authentication, data storage (Firebase, US region), maps and place data (Maps/Places), AI analysis and review translation (Gemini)
• Stripe, Inc. (USA) — payment processing
• Netlify, Inc. (USA) — web hosting

5. Cookies

The Service uses a single cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember your language preference. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies are used.

6. Publishing feedback on the Service

Feedback you send is, by default, read only by the Operator. The Operator may select some of it to publish as a review on the Service's home page; whether to publish is decided by the Operator on a case-by-case basis.

When a review is published, only three things are shown with it: the satisfaction rating, the message you wrote, and the first part of your account name (for example, "Woo" from "Woo Jang"). Your email address, full name, profile photo, and the contents of your trips and itineraries are never published. Published reviews appear in both Korean and English; for the language you did not write in, a stored machine translation is shown.

If you would rather not be published, or want a published review removed, email hello@tripsnapai.app and we will take it down without delay.

7. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information. Send requests to hello@tripsnapai.app; we will act without delay and inform you of the result.

When you request account deletion, all personal information is destroyed except records subject to statutory retention.

8. Children

The Service does not collect personal information from children under 14.
